Gothic 3: The beginning - the best mobile RPG ever?

Title

In one word: " Maybe"...
OK, that might not sound very convincing but the game has some potential, even compared to last year's RPG terminator Might and Magic 2.The only place I find it really lacking is the graphics department- no visual feedback when changing weapon and armor and a very limited (and I mean VERY) amount of NPC models/avatars- you'll have to imagine you're speaking with a woman even though the picture beside the dialogue is definitely male. Either that or gay marriage have suddenly become very popular...

The quick slots are not as "quick" as I hoped and it's highly unlikely to write home about the dialogs spoiled by the bad translation, but even all that considered the game is great.
Gothic 3 mobile is slightly less linear, has a better story and better side quests (read "not so straight forward to complete") than MM2. In my opinion, it also has a better fantasy setting, but you're allowed to disagree with that if you want :)
Whatever your opinion on the topic is, the fact that the mobile game is a prequel to the PC series makes it a must play for the fans of the series and I dare say it is highly recommended for all other RPG fans too.
It's a nearly perfect conversion of the character building system from the previous parts and you get to see your favorite armor (10 types) and weapons (28 base types) and use them on well-known enemies from the PC version. That's not all- you gain levels, learn spells and fight the baddies on randomly generated maps- all that on the palm of your hand.Oh and did I mentioned you get to play with  Xardas... Priceless!
Keep in mind though that Gothic 3: The beginning is more of a sofa-at-home game than a bus stop one. If you decide to play while you are waiting for your transport to arrive you're at risk of missing it and going late to work OR having to think of an excuse to stay at home. I advise the latter :)

gothic3Graphic and sound 7/10
Gameplay               9/10
Value for money   10/10
Novelty                  8/10
Total                      9/10

The bottom line - A must have for every RPG fan. Keeping me awake for two nights in a row is quite an achievement :)
